Why Price Varies by Address

Different counties in Northeast Florida are served by different landfills, and those facilities charge different disposal rates. The same 30 yard pull does not cost us the same in Nassau County as it does in Duval.

Any hauler advertising one flat regional price is either padding the cheaper areas to cover the expensive ones, or adding the difference back later as a fee. We would rather quote you accurately the first time and not move the number afterward.

Container Sizes

Every container includes the same three tons of disposal, so choosing a size is about space, not weight allowance.

20 Yard — 22 ft × 8 ft × 4.5 ft — from $450

Roughly six pickup truck loads. The lowest walls of the three, which makes loading heavy material by hand much easier.

Best for: single-layer roof tear-offs, medium renovations, small demolition, concrete, dirt, brick, and block.

If your debris is heavy, this is your size. Dense material hits three tons long before it fills any container, so a bigger can buys you nothing but a harder lift over taller walls.

30 Yard — 22 ft × 8 ft × 6 ft — from $475

Roughly nine pickup loads. The most common choice on active construction sites.

Best for: new construction framing waste, whole-house or large commercial renovation, mid-size demolition, commercial cleanouts, mixed C&D debris.

40 Yard — 22 ft × 8 ft × 8 ft — from $525

Roughly twelve pickup loads. Maximum volume for bulky, lighter material.

Best for: large commercial construction, major demolition, warehouse and retail cleanouts, cardboard and packaging, furniture and fixtures.

Twice the volume of a 20 yard for $75 more. If your material is bulky and light, this is the obvious pick. If it is heavy, it is the wrong one.

About the Three Ton Cap

Three tons is 6,000 pounds, and it covers most jobs comfortably. But be realistic about the ones where it will not:

A full 40 yard of mixed construction debris will usually run over three tons. Expect overage on a heavy full load and budget for it.
Concrete, dirt, brick, and shingles are dense. A 20 yard can exceed three tons well before it looks full.
Framing waste, cardboard, furniture, and fixtures are light. These rarely hit the cap even in a 40 yard.

We would rather you hear this now than be surprised by an invoice. Overage is $50 per ton — roughly what the landfill charges us — not a penalty. Tell us what the material is when you order and we will tell you honestly whether you are likely to go over.

How Roll Off Service Works

Call or request online. Tell us the address, the material, and when you need it.
We deliver. Next day on most orders, no delivery fee. The driver sets the can where you direct, within reason for access.
You have 14 days. Load to the top rail — nothing above the sides, or it cannot be legally tarped and hauled. Extra days are $20 each if you need them.
Call for pickup or a swap. On active sites we bring an empty can and haul off the full one — next day, Monday through Saturday. Your crew does not lose a shift waiting on a container.

Roll Off for Ongoing Commercial Accounts

Not every roll off is a one-off project. Manufacturing plants, distribution centers, large retail, and multi-tenant properties often need a can on a standing schedule for bulk material that will not fit a front load dumpster.

What You Can and Cannot Put In It

Accepted: construction and demolition debris, wood, drywall, roofing, concrete, dirt, brick, metal, furniture, fixtures, cardboard, general non-hazardous commercial waste.

Not accepted in the container: hazardous waste, liquids, paint, oil, fuel, tires, batteries, electronics, medical waste, asbestos, and appliances containing refrigerant.

A loaded can with prohibited material in it can be refused at the scale. If you are unsure, call before you load — a two-minute conversation prevents a rejected haul.

Tires, appliances, and electronics: we can take them, just not in the container. We will dispose of them as a separate service at additional cost. Set them aside and tell us what you have when you order. That saves you a trip to a specialty facility and a second vendor to manage — one call covers the whole site.

Before Delivery — Site Access

Roll off trucks need more room than most people expect:

About 60 feet of straight clearance to back in and set the container down
Roughly 25 feet of overhead clearance — watch for power lines, tree limbs, awnings, covered entries
Firm, level ground. Soft sand and fresh sod will rut. Plywood under the wheels protects a driveway.
A clear path on delivery day. Parked vehicles are the most common reason a delivery gets rescheduled.

On your own property or driveway, no permit is required. If the container needs to sit on a public street or right-of-way, a permit may be required depending on the municipality — City of Jacksonville and the beach communities each have their own rules. Can I put concrete or dirt in a roll off?

Yes, in a 20 yard. Heavy material is restricted to the smaller container because a 30 or 40 yard filled with concrete exceeds legal road weight before it is anywhere near full. Tell us it is concrete or dirt when you order so we bring the right can.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster?

Not on private property. If you keep the container on your own driveway, lot, or job site, no permit is needed. If it has to go on a public street or right-of-way, a permit may be required — City of Jacksonville and the beach municipalities each handle this differently. We work in all four counties every day, so tell us the address and where you want the can placed and we will tell you what applies before we deliver.

How much room do I need for delivery?

About 60 feet of straight approach and 25 feet of overhead clearance. Watch for low power lines and tree limbs, and keep the spot clear of vehicles on delivery day.

Can you swap a full container on an active job?

Yes — next day, Monday through Saturday. Call and we bring an empty and haul off the full one. Because we run six days a week, a Friday afternoon call still gets you a Saturday swap, which a Monday-through-Friday hauler cannot do. On very high-volume sites we can also stage a second container so there is always an open can on the ground.

What do I do with tires, appliances, and old electronics?

They cannot go in the roll off, but you do not need a second vendor. Set them aside and we will dispose of them as a separate service at additional cost. Tell us what you have when you call and we will quote it with the container.
